BIODATA OF DIRECTOR GENERAL, REAR ADMIRAL MUHAMMAD SHUAIB HI(M)

Rear Admiral Muhammad Shuaib HI(M) has assumed the Command of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency as Director General on 2 March 2020. Rear Admiral Muhammad Shuaib HI(M) was commissioned in Pakistan Navy in January 1988. He is a graduate of PAF Air War Collage Karachi and National Defence University Islamabad. He has also qualified National Command Course from USA. In addition, he has done Masters in National Security & War Studies, War & Strat Studies and also holds diploma in Project Management.

He has the honour of serving on various appointments such as Commanding Officer PN Ship NASR, PNS NIGRAAN as Naval Provost Marshal, Commander 10th Patrol Squadron and Commander 9th Auxiliary Squadron. He also has the honour of commanding multi nation task force (CTF-151) at HQ US NAVCENT at Bahrain. In his staff appointments, the Flag Officer has served at NHQ as Director Naval Training, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Personnel) & Special Operation Force and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Administration). He has also served at JSHQ as DG Training and Warfare.


He was instructor at Pakistan Naval Academy, UAE Naval Academy and PNS BAHADUR. He has also served as Directing Staff at the National Defence University Islamabad. He was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral on 27 July 2017, in recognition of his services he has been awarded with Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military).
