PMSS HINGOL is lead ship of the HINGOL Class MPVs-6HT (600 Tons Maritime Patrol Vessels). Named after the HINGOL River in Balochistan, she was constructed and launched at CSSC Xijiang Shipyard, Liuzhou, Guangxi Province, China and subsequently outfitted and commissioned at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard, Guangzhou, China on 10 Dec 16 with Cdr Ashfaq Ali PN as the first Commanding Officer. The Ship arrived Gwadar Port on 14 Jan 17 after travelling 6048 Nautical Miles over 26 x days.
