Pakistan Maritime Security Agency conducts various Free Medical Camps every year in the disputed areas where poor peoples don't have adequate facilities for free medical checkup. PMSA provides free medical facilities to thousands of poor people living alongside coastal link. Saveral free Medical Camps has been organised by HQs PMSA in different areas and provide free medical to an average of 500 to 900 patients in each camp.
PMSA perform search and rescue operations in any emergency including flood, cyclone, rain spell etc. While perfoming Search And Rescue operations, PMSA also provide wellfare to the effected families of fishermen.
PMSA reaches out to aggrieved families of fishermen in coastal areas to distribute free ration among the deserving families. The main objective of such activities is to provide support to the less privilleged.
PMSA also arrange certain awareness lectures for fishermen community on life saving first aid and CPR proceedures. Recently, on 17th Feburary 2022 Medical rep of HQ PMSA delivered lecture to fishermen community and general populace of keti bandar on life saving first aid and CPR. Around 45 to 50 people of keti bandar attended the lecture.
In its effort to establish a strong bonding with fishermen community, PMSA adopted a Government Boys Primary School, Haji Peer Muhammad Jazeera Bhit, on 20 April 2011. The school was adopted through Adopt-a School Program (AASP) of Sindh Education Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Education and District Government Karachi.
